Anche se non si amano gli zoo, i nostri bambini ci chiederanno di vedere i leoni o le scimmie prima o poi. Lo zoo di Falconara dall’ultima volta che lo abbiamo visitato (tantissimi anni fa!) si è completamente rinnovato, si può passeggiare (anche con passeggino) attraverso tutto il parco incontrando di volta in volta le “casette” degli animali che ci vivono, in un’atmosfera naturale e verdissima.
Tunnel
Matilde aveva 2 anni e ha passeggiato con noi senza problemi (abbiamo portato anche il passeggino in caso di stanchezza improvvisa!) è entrata addirittura da sola nel lungo tunnel che porta in mezzo ai ghepardi dove, grazie ad una piramide di vetro che spunta in mezzo a questi animali, è possibile vederli da vicino. In realtà i ghepardi sono rimasti a sonnecchiare lontano, ma il brivido del tunnel sotterraneo è stato comunque apprezzato!
Lo staff organizza anche piccole attività didattiche e noi abbiamo colorato (si fa per dire!) una bella mascherina da pavone.
Andando di domenica e in alta stagione il parco è affollato e bisogna parcheggiare un pò lontano, ma niente di impossibile. Le tariffe sono impegnative per una famigliola ma, considerando che portando un pranzo al sacco si può passare l’intera giornata, direi che il gioco vale la candela. Nei mesi di Dicembre e Gennaio il parco è chiuso. Non potete portare i vostri animali ma hanno un servizio box per i cani gratuito.
ENGLISH/ Even if we do not love the zoos , our children will ask us to see the lions or monkeys sooner or later. The Zoo of Falconara since the last time we visited it( many years ago!) Has been completely renovated , you can walk (with stroller) through the entire park meeting from time to time, the ” houses ” of the animals that live there, in a natural and very green area . Matilda had 2 years and has walked with us with no problems ( we even brought the stroller in case of sudden tiredness ! ) She walked alone even in the long tunnel that leads into the midst of the cheetahs where, thanks to a glass pyramid that rises among these animals , you can see them up closer . In fact, cheetahs are left to doze away , but the thrill of the underground tunnel was still appreciated ! The staff also organizes educational activities and we have small colored (so to speak) a beautiful mask as a peacock. Going on Sundays and during high season the park is crowded and you have to park a bit far , but nothing impossible to do. The prices for a family it’s maybe a lot but considering that bringing a packed lunch you can spend the whole day , I would say that the game is easily done. In the months of December and January, the park is closed . You can not bring your animals but they give you a service box for the dogs for free .
